Amalie Hegland Lauritzen
Hello, my name is Amalie and I love to fly!
I grew up between the mountains and waterfalls of Voss, a beautiful little town on the westside of Norway, skiing, hiking and exploring nature.
In 2012 I had my first flight in a windtunnel, and slowly flying evolved into a big part of my life which I am very passionate about. I started competing in FS4 on an all girls, junior team called VossVind Girls. We trained and competed together for 3 years, before I changed my

path completely into freestyle and dynamic flying.
I have spent the last few years pushing myself to see what I could and can achieve in flying. In 2018 I became the first European Champion of Solo Freestyle and in 2019 I took the bronze medal in the World Championships.
I love to teach flying to others and spend my time travelling to different tunnels coaching. My goal is to motivate new flyers, contributing in helping others prepare for competition and evolve their creativity within flying.
Flying has so much unexplored potential both in the creative aspects and the competitive flying, which is what sparks my motivation to continue.
In 2019 I was taken on board by the Joyriders, an awesome female crew, who are like my sisters. They inspire me every day and to be sharing my journey together with them are one of the biggest gifts of my career.
